HIGHLIGHTS
TRANSOM & COCKPIT
Beginning aft, the walk-through transom provides convenient access to the cockpit. A stern-mounted boarding ladder makes getting back aboard after a swim easier. When raised, the ladder fills the transom opening and sits level with the surrounding railing. Solid stainless steel tubular railings run along the deck in place of traditional wire lifelines. Boarding gates on the port and starboard sides provide additional access from the dock. The cockpit features seating along both sides, with the pedestal-mounted wheel positioned aft. Two cockpit lockers provide storage for lines, equipment and cruising essentials, while moulded nonskid surfaces provide practical footing. The canvas has been completely redone with a full cockpit enclosure, creating a sheltered space for relaxing aboard and extending the use of the cockpit in cooler or unsettled weather. A teak cup holder at the pedestal adds a traditional finishing touch.
At the helm, a 5-inch Ritchie compass, separate throttle and shift levers, bow thruster control for close-quarter manoeuvring as well as Raymarine C80 multifunction display, a Raymarine i70s multifunction instrument mounted at the cockpit bulkhead and auto helm (electronics and auto helm have been disconnected and unknown if working)
Moving forward, nonskid side decks lead to the foredeck, bordered by stainless steel rails and stanchions, with slotted aluminum toe rails along the deck edges. An aluminum anchor platform with an anchor roller extends forward at the bow, with a deck-access anchor locker nearby.
SAILING EQUIPMENT
The sailing arrangement features a keel-stepped aluminum mast with double spreaders, an aluminum boom and stainless steel rod rigging. The owner replaced the headsail roller furling a few years ago and installed a Happy Pac mainsail cover and a new mainsail track system. These updates complement the cockpit’s Barient No. 28 two-speed self-tailing primary winches, additional cabin-top winches and cabin-top mainsheet traveller. A mainsail, DRS and clip-on storm sail are available, along with a spinnaker pole. The mainsail, Happy Pac, DRS and storm sail are currently stored off the boat.
SALON
Below deck, teak companionway steps lead into a warm, traditional cabin with teak bulkheads, cabinetry and trim, complemented by a teak-and-holly sole. Opposing settees provide space to sit, gather and relax. The interior table is available and is currently stored off the boat. Storage drawers, cabinets and a hanging locker provide places for clothing, provisions and personal belongings.
The side windows have been replaced with a double-barrier sealing arrangement. Opening ports and overhead hatches provide additional ventilation. To port near the companionway, the navigation station includes a chart table with storage beneath its lifting top and seating at the quarter berth. The VHF radio and electrical distribution panel are conveniently positioned in this area.
A Wempe clock and barometer complement the traditional interior, while entertainment equipment includes a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo and an LG flat-screen television.
Positioned to starboard near the companionway, the galley is convenient to both the salon and cockpit.
Twin deep stainless steel sinks are served by pressurized hot and cold water, with a replaced water heater supplying hot water aboard. Laminate counters with teak trim provide preparation space, and surrounding cabinetry offers storage for cookware and provisions. A refrigerated compartment served by a Nova Kool compressor provides cold storage. An RCA microwave and portable induction cooktop are also included in the galley arrangement. The stove is currently off the boat.
The forward V-berth provides sleeping accommodation for two, with an overhead hatch bringing natural light and fresh air into the space. An aft quarter berth provides additional accommodation near the companionway, while the salon seating offers further space to stretch out and relax.
The enclosed head is located to port near the forward berth. It features a Jabsco manual marine toilet, vanity sink, handheld shower and medicine cabinet.
Auxiliary power comes from a Yanmar 3HM three-cylinder diesel rated at 27 hp, paired with a Kanzaki transmission and shaft drive. The front of the engine is accessed beneath the companionway steps.
A Mermaid Marine Air 9,000 BTU reverse-cycle air-conditioning system adds comfort below deck. Electrical equipment includes 30-amp shore power, a NOCO Genius Gen 3 battery charger and a dedicated bow thruster battery.
